Samsung’s doomed Galaxy Note 7 to go back on sale

The Telegraph:

Samsung will start selling a refurbished version of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone this week after an embarrassing recall over exploding batteries rocked the tech giant last year.

The recall of millions of Galaxy Note 7 devices cost the world’s largest smartphone maker billions of dollars in lost profits and hammered its global reputation.

The damage to their reputation as far as this particular handset is done. They should take the hit and move on – not ask customers to trust them with a new battery for this device just because they have stock to clear. Good luck with selling it Samsung.
